In the Chernobyl exclusion zone will appear routes along the Pripyat and Uzh rivers.
These actions were done due to a president order regarding for the development of territories which exposed to radioactive pollution as a result of the Chernobyl disaster.
Specialists in the Chernobyl Preservation, environmentalists, the water inspectors and the administration of the exclusion zone were involved in the development of the routes.
The administration of the exclusion zone notes, that the development of new forms of visit was initiated by tour operators - due to an almost tenfold increase of visitors over the past 5 years. In addition, water routes will provide an opportunity to see the nature of the exclusion zone.
All routes are checked by dosimetrists and are safe for visitors. Organizational measures are taking place to introduce new routes for visitors.
