Flow of Tourists


After the Chernobyl series, the flow of tourists into the exclusion zone rises in twice.

The administration of the exclusion zone reports that during the first half of 2019 more than 40000 tourists visited the Chornobyl Zone. This is  in twice bigger than on the first half of 2018: then there were near 20,000 visitors.
To get  with the increased flow of tourists, trained  36 new guides during two summer months, there are 110 of them now. At one of the universities expected the creation of institution or courses where the guides will receive special knowledge and skills for working in the exclusion zone.
Over the past five years, according to the administration data, the flow of tourists has increased almost in 10 times, and continues to grow.
