About the Zone

The Chornobyl Exclusion Zone is a territory prohibited for free access that has been subjected to intense pollution with radionuclides as a result of the accident at the Chornobyl nuclear power plant.

The Chornobyl zone is located on the territory of Ukraine and includes the northern part of the Kiev region. Exclusion Zone includes the cities of Chornobyl, Pripyat, the Chornobyl nuclear power plant, the evicted villages and Duga Station. You can visit all these and many other locations by going on an excursion together with the Real Chornobyl team.
